Alyssa Garnick has spent 30 years helping the world’s leading brands grow. She is an award-winning PR campaign architect who can pinpoint the most effective ways to tackle a problem and the most creative ways to bring to life a message or idea. She has a passion for building brands and she has spent her career generating ideas, integrated campaigns and results for consumer brands.

After seeing an opportunity to deliver high-caliber work to large brands via smaller, more-engaged and senior teams, Alyssa founded AGEAN PR in 2020. Alyssa formed a team that could provide sharp strategies and flawless execution across consumer and business media relations, thought leadership and speaking opportunities, experiential and event marketing, and influencer campaigns. AGEAN does brand-building PR and they customize the program for consumer and corporate brands based on the client’s goals.

AGEAN has won Best Travel Campaign of the Year for their work for Priceline “Find Your Happy Price;” Best Business Campaign of the Year and Media Relations Campaign of the Year for their work with SERHANT., helping them announce the highest residence in the world: The Penthouse at Central Park Tower. Their recent campaigns have been recognized with awards from PR News, PRSA-NY, PR Daily, Digiday, and the Shorty Awards. They have been nominated for multiple PRovoke and PR Week awards and Alyssa was named to both PR News and PR Daily “Top Women in Communications.”

For iconic brands such as Neutrogena, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s, P&G’s Secret and Venus brands, Philips Norelco, Old Navy, Hertz, ABSOLUT, Krispy Kreme, TENA and IKEA, Alyssa has been responsible for driving conversation, coverage and commerce and helping brands optimize their presence in press and relevance in social media. She stays ahead on audiences and trends and brings bold insights and ideas to her clients.

Alyssa was the PR strategist and campaign lead behind one of the most successful and bold campaigns of all time: Man Lives in IKEA. She and her team won two “Best Campaign of the Year” awards – from PR Week and the Holmes Report/ PRovoke.This PR campaign also won the PR Week “Corporate Branding Campaign of the Year” and the first ever “Best Use of Digital Media” SABRE award. Campaigns that she has either created or managed for brands such as Coca-Cola, IKEA, Philips Norelco and J&J’s o.b. have won multiple industry awards, including four “Campaign of the Year” awards, from PRWeek, PRovoke and PRSA-NY. Alyssa was also named to PR Week’s prestigious “Top 40 Under 40” list.

When she is not presenting ideas to clients, Alyssa spends time mentoring recent graduates and she was a founding member of the PRSA Foundation Summer Program, “Foster the Future” that grants a paid internship and scholarship to BIPOC students. AGEAN participates in the “Foster the Future” fellowship program annually. Alyssa created the PR content and starred in with long-time client, Ryan Serhant, “How to Build Your Personal Brand” a digital course teaching the art and science of PR and the role it plays in building a personal brand and she can been seen counseling him in ‘Owning Manhattan’ on Netflix. Alyssa is on the board of the HGSF which grants scholarships to qualified students to help pay for college. Alyssa believes PR is best used to build awareness and credibility for a brand’s name, expertise and its purpose and she is obsessed with racquet sports, skiing, family and beach days.
